Here are some new house race rules. These rules apply to all races.

Racers who need to warm up can do so on the track that is not in use for the race. If the rental track has a lane available. In Situations where both tracks are being used for the race, all tracks will shut down 45 minutes before the race is scheduled to start.
-Tech Inspection is to be conducted in the following fashion.
--Racers will pre-lube, clean and tune their vehicles, before handing it to inspector.
--Racers will hand their car to the tech inspector.
--Racers can not touch, modify or access their vehicles for any reason from this point on except for a pit stop (If allowed for the race). No Exceptions.
--If the car needs to be opened for inspection, it will be opened prior to being handed to the tech inspector. The car will be inspected and then will be closed up in front of the tech inspector.
--The car will be placed into the impound box in numerical order (spot 1 filled, then spot 2 and so on), no exceptions.
--The Racer will be told an Impound Number. The Racer is responsible for remembering this impound number. This number is required to have your car placed on the track in the proper order. This number has no relation to the number order in witch you race.
-Timing Official
--Talking to or asking questions of the timing official in any way during race setup, tally finalization, or any other race critical time will result in an automatic 1 lap penalty. It is critical that the timing official not be interrupted during race setup or during the result calculation periods to ensure correct results.
-Lane Assignments
--Lane Assignments are made randomly by the computer. These are your assigned spots and you may not change spots.
-Final Results
--Numbers on the screens are unofficial, and are there for pacing purposes. Results are not official until announced. If an error is caught, the Timing Official will correct them at the end of the race. Please do not ask the Timing Official for the official numbers, as they need to concentrate on the race.
-Data Screens
--Racers are not permitted to gather around or look over the shoulder of Race Director and Timing Official. The Timing Official's Screen is for the use of the Race Director and Timing Official only. There are screens placed around the building for Racers to view the race information.
-Marshaling
--All Racers are required to marshal for a minimum of 6 heats. No Exceptions. You will be penalized 1 lap for each heat you fail to marshal under 6. (Example, if you only marshal 5 heats, you will incur a 1 lap penalty, if you only marshal 4 heats, you will incur a 2 lap penalty).
-Racers Responsibilities
--It is the racers responsibility to make sure his/her car is in proper working order, and does not violate any race rules.
--The Racer is responsible for ensuring his/her car is properly rotated after a segment rotation. Loss of laps due to failure to rotate is the fault of the racer, no compensation will be given for these laps.
--The Racer is also responsible for ensuring his/her throttle is properly hooked up and is in working condition (fuse is good, etc). In case of a throttle position Lane Circuit Breaker Opening (popping), it is the drivers responsibility to check the throttle and reset the breaker. The track will not be paused. No Compensation will be given for loss of laps. If the Car is found to be at fault, driver may correct the issue under green only. If the fault is found to be in the track, the race will be paused and the fault will be corrected.
--If a throttle is incorrectly hooked up, and creates a track wide short, the race will be paused, and the issue corrected. No Compensation will be given for missed laps.
